ALPHA
Date:
To be announced
Ever wondered what it's all about?
Alpha is for anyone…anyone who thinks there may be more to
life than meets the eye.
Life is full of tough times—shaky employment, relationship struggles, kid
troubles and illness.
No matter what you are facing, Alpha is a place to ask why
with the freedom to share or just sit back and listen.
Is there a God? Why Am I Here? Who Is Jesus?
Alpha tackles these and other questions each week.
Chances are somebody else is wondering the same things you are.
Alpha
is enjoyed and appreciated as much by those who have never set foot in a church
as it is by regular church-goers.
At
Alpha you can share a casual meal, build some friendships, and enjoy lively
conversation—
no expectations and no strings. Come check it out to see if it’s for you.
Alpha is non-denominational and open to everyone.
Free childcare available with advance request.
If
you have any questions or to RSVP, please call the church office
Starting May 2
A
LIFE WORTH LIVING
Sunday Evenings
6:30 - 8:00
In Hoyle Lounge
For many, The Alpha Course represents the first steps in the Christian life,
and many new Christians will end the course asking “What Happens Next?”
A Life Worth Living is an excellent follow-up course to Alpha although
everyone would enjoy it.
The
course is based on Paul’s letter to the Philippians. The video presented by
Nicky Gumbel is to introduce this key letter in the New Testament in a
simple and practical way for those who are starting the Christian life and
beginning to read the Bible. Each talk explains how it is possible to live
the Christian life positively, practically and joyfully. Please come and
join us.
Child
care available with advance request (by the previous Friday) to our Child
Care Coordinator, Kayte Gleason, at 602-571-6514.
